Trawaydo is my latest project, where my husband and I share our personal travel experiences from around the world. Our journeys range from relaxing cruise trips to adventures out in the wild nature. This project allows me to merge my passion for filming, storytelling, and editing. Keen-eyed viewers will notice playful transitions sprinkled throughout each video.
While all videos are presented in German, subtitles in multiple languages make the content accessible to a broader, international audience. In addition to the YouTube channel, Trawaydo also includes a companion website, which is currently available in German.
Introducing PlantFrand, a companion for plant care management. The app is designed to help plant lovers effortlessly monitor the well-being of their plants while also exploring how others care for the same species.
I initially created PlantFrand as part of my journey into app development. As the proud owner of around 50 plants myself, I wanted a simple app to keep track of my collection but was also curious to see how other plant enthusiasts cared for theirs. This was the foundation for the community data that each user contributes to. New features are regularly added based on the feedback I receive from my lovely users or new ideas I have. This truly makes the app a community-driven project, which I love!
The app is currently only available for iOS, but I am actively working on an Android version. It is available in English and German.
I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to learn how to draw. While some individuals may possess innate talent, with sufficient patience and dedication, anyone can create remarkable art.
On the How to Art website, I share step-by-step tutorials covering drawing, sketching, and painting techniques, alongside articles on various art-related subjects. The website is accessible in English, German, Korean, and Russian.
Additionally, I share some behind the scenes footage and short video content on Instagram and YouTube.
PackCheckList is my newest app, made for anyone who has ever stood next to a half-packed suitcase wondering what they forgot. Every trip gets its own packlist. Things that always travel together, like the contents of a cosmetics bag or your outdoor gear, can be saved as sets and added to a packlist in one go.
The idea came from our own travels we share as Trawaydo: a 43-day cruise needs different things than a wild-camping weekend in Sweden, yet some parts of every list are always the same. Instead of reusing one long note or sheet, I wanted a fresh list for each trip that builds on what I already know I need. You can also pack together with friends and family: share a packlist, decide who sees which items, and tick things off together. Your personal lists stay on your device, and you only need an account if you want to share.
